Aquilegia canadensis 'Corbett'
Columbine, Corbett , Dwarf Yellow Zones: 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9
Introduced by Richard Simon of Bluemont Nurseries, Corbett Columbine is just like the wild red Columbine except that is rarely grows over 18 inches tall and its flowers are a pale yellow with short spurs. It prefers partial sun and good soil with good drainage but will tolerate full shade to full sun as long as the soil is not too dry and it drains well. Flowering is in mid to late spring. Good companions would include Bluestar, Blue Phlox, Firepink, Dwarf Crested Iris, and Alumroot. Cat# 1013
