Plant Description

Yellow Trillium is the most common species in our area, Tennessee, where it can be seen by the thousands. Its natural range is from north Georgia to southern Kentucky in rich deciduous forests on basic soil. It has large yellow/green flowers that sit right on top of beautifully mottled leaves up to 14” tall. Flowers smell strongly of lemons. Mid to late spring blooming. Our Trillium luteum are seed grown in proximity to Trillium cuneatum and may be hybrids, so flower colors may range from yellow to maroon/red. All our trilliums are nursery propagated from seed and are at least 8 years old. Dormant shipping only.
