Plant Description
A Royal Horticultural Society Award winner, Coreopsis ‘Zagreb’ is one of the most popular and dependable perennials of all times. It forms 15” tall, spreading clumps of very fine, needle-like foliage that has golden yellow flowers from early to late summer. The clumps are both dense and airy at the same time making a very effective ground cover in good soil, and it will even thrive in poor or rocky soil. Give this easy plant full sun and average soil with good drainage. Sheer spent blossoms occasionally to prolong blooming. It is the perfect compliment to almost any plant in the garden and is long-lived to boot. Our favorite companions include Tennessee coneflower, butterfly weed, and ‘Terra Cotta’ yarrow.
