Plant Description
Semi-double, white flowers with lilac purple backs gracefully top wiry stems well above dark green, semi-glossy leaves. An exceptionally long flowering period from early summer to frost, is due to its parentage including both early and late blooming varieties. That, plus its compact, upright habit, and well behaved nature, make Dreaming Swan and Wild Swan (members of the new Swan Series) highly desirable and unique in the anemone world. Dreaming Swan grows to around 2’ tall and 2’ wide in full sun to shade (more sun up north, more shade down south) and good soil. It grows a little taller than Wild Swan. Use it in a mixed border, cottage garden, wood’s edge, or rain garden.
Non-invasive and long blooming and beautiful. Now, that’s special.
