Plant Description

An Anemone rupicola hybrid and part of the new Swan Series, Wild Swan is different from our familiar Japanese anemones because it blooms continuously from late spring until frost. Flowers are huge, 3-3.5” wide, and white, with a beautiful lilac purple back side, which becomes more apparent when flowers close at night. Leaves are dark green and semi-glossy. Plus, Wild Swan is quite short, growing to 20” tall and just 16” wide. So if other anemones were too tall or became too rampant for you, then Wild Swan is the answer. Part shade and good soil with regular moisture is preferred.

Non-invasive and long blooming and beautiful. Now, that’s special.
