Item #: 1658
Pot Size: 4"x4"x5.5" pot

Plant Description

This is a dwarf, darker purple-blue flowering wild indigo that is rare in the wild in glades and barrens with alkaline soil in Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, and South Carolina. It forms 18” tall clumps of much smaller and closely spaced leaves than typical wild indigo and produces flower spikes that extend another 6” above the leaves. It is a little powerhouse of color! Plant this one in your dry, sunny garden where smaller is better. Try it with purple lovegrass, conradina, and eastern bergamot.
