Plant Description

Thierry Delabroye of France has created yet another heat and humidity tolerant Heuchera villosa masterpiece with the addition of ‘Circus’. This one has lovely peach colored leaves in the spring which change to bright, yellow-green with striking red venation in the summer. Plus it has stout, 2’ tall sprays of bright red flowers in late spring, and this is new in the Heuchera villosa group. The plant forms a very colorful, evergreen clump just over a foot tall and wide. Like other alumroots, it likes part shade and average, well drained soil. With its striking color combination, ‘Circus’ would look great with ‘Obsidian’ alumroot, doghobble, Florida anise tree, and Bowmans root.
