Plant Description

Hardy begonia looks like a 2 foot tall angel wing begonia and has showy, pink clusters of flowers in late summer and fall. Hardy begonias grow in good soil in shade and are fully perennial coming up faithfully every year in zones 6 and warmer. It will spread rapidly when happy, by bulblets that fall off the stems. As such, it is good for filling in space in shady places.
