Plant Description

Wild Sweet William is a spring blooming woodland phlox that is evergreen and low growing with flowering stems up to 15 inches tall holding beautiful, soft blue flowers in mid-spring. The 1 inch flowers are held in 5 inch clusters and are very strongly and sweetly scented - the perfect lure for early spring butterflies. Blue Phlox is a must for the woodland wild garden in light shade and good, moisture retentive soil. They should naturalize by seed. Combines beautifully with every color of spring!
