Plant Description

Jacob's Ladder is a dainty perennial for rich, moist soil in light shade. Eighteen-inch plants are covered with clusters of open bell-shaped pale lavender flowers in April and May. Leaflets are arranged in horizontal pairs along the stem resembling rungs of a ladder. Possible companions include Foamflower, Phlox, Celandine Poppy, and Virginia Bluebells.
