Plant Description

If you want an easy, early blooming ground cover for sun or light shade, here you go. 'Georgia Blue' is a (fast) creeping spreader that has brilliant blue/white-eyed flowers in early to late spring. This little native of Russia is tough and tolerant of temperature and moisture extremes once established. It works very well with spring bulbs, ferns, and wildflowers at the woods edge. It is evergreen and its small dark green leaves turn a glossy burgundy in the winter.
