Heucherella ‘Buttered Rum’

Foamy Bells, Buttered Rum

$ 14.95

Item #: 1638
Pot Size: full quart

Plant Description

Heucherella is a bi-generic cross between Heuchera (alumroot) and Tiarella (foamflower), and this cross has resulted in a very unusual and beautiful plant. Forming a mounded, 7 inch, evergreen clump, the deeply cut leaves of ‘Buttered Rum’ morph from soft orange-purple in the spring to mostly green with a little caramel in the summer, to more rose-red-purple in the fall. It has typical foamflower type white flowers in late spring. Give it part shade or morning sun, good drainage, and moderately fertile soil. This is a beautiful clumper with 4 seasons of interest. Whether it is in a mixed border or in containers, the colors really pop. A Blooms of Bressingham introduction.
