Heucherella ‘Sweet Tea’

Foamy Bells, Sweet Tea

$ 14.95

Item #: 1639
Pot Size: full quart

Plant Description

Deeply cleft maple leaves in spring are apricot-orange with a burgundy blotch. These darken to orange-russet-cinnamon in the summer, and then lighten to pale burgundy-pink-orange in the fall. Really unique! ‘Sweet Tea’ makes big, evergreen clumps that are 20 inches tall and almost 30 inches wide. Add another 6 or 7 inches for the small white flowers in spring. Plant ‘Sweet Tea’ in good, rich, well-drained soil in part shade. ‘Sweet Tea’ shows quite a bit of its Heuchera villosa parentage in that it is big and robust and tolerates summer heat and humidity very well. It is a natural for colorful containers or to brighten up a shade garden.
