Plant Description

Salvia ‘Ultra Violet’ is an exciting Salvia greggii hybrid that originated in Colorado. It has intense violet flowers from early summer into fall on compact, bushy, 2’ plants. Grow it in full sun and well-drained soil, and watch the hummingbirds flock to it. It has very aromatic foliage so deer and rabbits leave it alone. Put it in the front of the garden along with ‘PowWow White’ coneflower, sedums, and prairie dropseed.
