Plant Description

‘Millenium’ is a stunning ornamental, flowering onion. It is a profuse and long-blooming, mid summer flowering selection with two inch rosy-purple, globe shaped flower heads that are held on two foot stalks over clumps of wide, flat, grass-like foliage. It makes neat and compact clumps that look great in the front of the sunny perennial garden. Pollinators love ‘Millenium’ but deer and rabbits will avoid it like the plague. A must have for the summer garden. Combine with Russian sage, bee balm, Becky shasta daisy, coneflowers, yarrow, stokesia, or coreopsis. New this year!
