Plant Description
A very silvery leaved Brunnera, ‘Silver Heart’ is perfect for the shaded, good soil garden where you might need a bright punch of light. The large, thick, heart-shaped leaves are way more white or silver than green, and the late spring flowers are bright blue. Although this is a collector’s plant, it is easy enough to grow in all but the very driest soils and even better, it is tolerant of summer’s heat and humidity. Grow this mounding clumper with trillium, foamflower, ferns, blue phlox, bleeding hearts, celandine poppies, and arisaemas.
